GRIME TEAM II
I was given the oportunity to
present Tony with his copy of Grime Team II while he was at The Museum of London for a
photo-shoot covering the reconstruction of the Roman water-lifting gear discovered nearby
and featured in a Time
Team Special from the last series.
Hedley Swain, one of the curators at MoL and formerly my archaeology tutor, extracted Tony from the hospitality suite for me for a few moments. He recognised me instantly (although the Grime Team sweat-shirt could have been a bit of a give-away!) and immediately commented to Hedley on how funny he thought the first video was. He seemed genuinely pleased to recieve the video and was more than happy to pose for this photo.
I stayed to watch the water lifter being demonstrated (see photos below), then jumped back on the Tube to drop a pile of videos off at the Time Team Production Office for the rest of The Team.
