It's very flattering that "Dead Ringers" do us but they don't get it, YOU get it, you know what to take the p*ss out of! Tony Robinson

Grime Team III

Our "Tony" from GT3 and the real one at Harlow Playhouse Theatre for Tony's "Cunning Night Out".  Tony commented that he was looking forward to the next Grime Team!

Mick Aston apparently loves Grime Team, and was highly amused at the antics with the cameo results and the bog scene. He says he isn't that leery of cows, but the ones we filmed would probably have made him think twice about being in their field! He says he is actually flattered with our character portrayal!

The Hungarian accent was very good, I understood every word of it!  Victor Ambrus

I'm still gobsmacked that anyone likes Time Team enough to go to all the effort of making a spoof of it!  Stewart Ainsworth

Well, I watched it. How on Earth did you get Neil (Faulkner) to take part?  I liked the dozy Mick. I'm sure Francis will be amused by being portrayed as an effete toff lolling in a hot bath.  It looked odd with Carenza in it but of course you weren't to know what's
happened. Took me back to the old days.   Guy de la Bedoyere

Grime Team II

It was a surreal experience.    Hedley Swain

Received my copy on Thursday. The explanation for Robin's departure is no less credible than the one given by the powers that be at TT and we certainly see another side of Phil!   Recommended moment? Robin Bush's contribution to geophysics...oh and the music over the closing credits, ;-).       Mary in Madrid

Derek has a rather uncanny resemblance to Robin, doesn't he?   And I'll never, ever use a Portaloo again without getting strangely worried!!! Big Grin     The little ones were great, definitely look a little like Phil and Carenza so they'll spot on for the 'Next Generation'.         Pete G.

You're to be congratulated, Eileen, as well as all the family who took part! Just watched it and was well impressed - good to see Odette and the family, too! Razz
I'd wondered what had happened to Robin - last I knew he had computer problems, but I hadn't realised it was as serious as that....        Bruce

I have just received my copy of "Grime Team II" - thank you very much- very well produced, I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish, thought your portrayal of Carenza; Eileen was brilliant. When's "Grime Team III" due out???
I can sleep safer knowing now where robin went to.
Many thanks for brightening up my evening- a real change from watching all the doom and gloom on telly at the mo.         Tracy Molyneux

Grime Team I

We have just spent a most enjoyable half hour in the Time Team production office watching 'Grime Team'...  Very well observed - you know Time Team better than we do!  We particularly liked Day Two - very Time Team!  Well done.  We await Grime Team series II...          The Time Team Office

He was very good, that bloke who played me... he'd got all my little mannerisms like pushing my glasses up my nose!   Mick Aston

I had no idea I came across as speaking such impenitrable verbiage but that's my problem, not yours!     Robin Bush

Did I spot my favourite beer in the titles?      Phil Harding

I particularly liked what you did with the titles.     John Gater

I've got a copy of the first Grime Team (I bought it during the TTFF trip to the Londinium exhibition). I enjoyed watching it and am looking forward to seeing the second one.     Sonia

Grime Team

What can I say about Grime Team? Would this do..?       Big GrinBig GrinBig GrinBig GrinBig Grin         Phil B.

Just had a very enjoyable couple of hours watching both "Grime Teams". A big Well Done to you and the rest of the Grime Team!
As a union safety representative I was a bit concerned with the power of that magnetometer in Grime Team 1. I hope you carried out a full Risk Assessment on it!!! Wink
As for Grime Team 2 - well, I always did wonder about those portaloos! And the new-look Phil? Ee did make oi laff! Big Grin

The Grime Team videos were brilliant. If you decide you want to do a third then why not use the 16th century dance tune Newcastle as the background music. They did for several series. I wrote to them and suggested they should learn the dance as one of the cameos.         Alison K

I've finally got around to watching the Grime Team videos I purchased at Peterborough yesterday. They are both very good, and I'll certainly be purchasing GT3 when it is made.       Chris M
